Vivian Coleman brings 30+ years of experience in creating more walkable, bikeable and livable communities. As the firm’s owner, Vivian has a proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders and brings a collaborative approach in developing solutions to complex planning issues and projects. Vivian’s breadth of experience includes involvement in transportation and land use planning, greenway/trail planning and design, curb lane management, wayfinding, zoning & subdivision administration and public engagement.

Vivian has effectively managed many high-profile projects and programs leading teams most recently with the City of Charlotte serving as the project manager for the Uptown Connects Study, a comprehensive network study recommending bicycle facilities into and through Charlotte’s Uptown. As a community planner, landscape architect and visual artist Vivian’s mission is to design places and spaces that provide a safer and more comfortable environment to walk, bike, scoot, ride and drive.
