Landscape Design and Placemaking

Vivid Earth Design works with the private and public sector to develop and implement landscape plans and provide placemaking opportunities. Over the past 30 years, Vivian Coleman has prepared many landscape plans for clients each with a focus on providing a project tailored to each property and the needs of each owner. Vivid Earth Design meets with clients to understand the greater scope and fine tunes the details.

During her tenure at the City of Charlotte, Vivian worked on events with temporary placemaking such as Parking Day to permanent installations such as historic markers, lighting and decorative retaining walls for the McDowell Street I-277 Underpass Pedestrian Enhancement Project.
